Congratulations to Gill Alexander who came third in the council's internal staff lottery winning a cool £250.

I understand that Gill intends to divide her win between the Mayor's Charity for the Rehabilitation of Grumpy Old Men and the cost of  installing of a high-voltage, electric shock attachment for the Mayor's chair which the Chief Executive can discretely activate without her action being caught on video.
Diplomacy is the ability to tell someone to go to hell in such a way that they look forward to the trip.

Councils need communities but communities don't need councils
Party politics have no place in local goverment
