See that Stockton Council are to cease recording meetings, saying that too few people are watching to justify the cost & that nobody has asked to bring in their own equipment.  We can't let that happen here, can we?    ???

No we can't Lucy L-S.

We all know that the Labour Councillots are going out of their way to limit not only questions from the residents but also contact with them. If they had their way they would not see us except at election time and then only their adherents. Do you remember CAB stating that the committee system would be more democratic, transparent, open and accountable than the Mayor and Cabinet system. Well that didn't last long!

HBC only record Council meetings. We need all the Committee meetings to be recorded. Is it time that we have crowdfunding to purchase a video camera and tripod that residents can use at these meetings?

Democracy is dying in Hartlepool and the North East. Is this the fault of the Corbynistas and Momementum? Bring back the socialist Labour Party and put this hard left, Communist version into the bin.

They would if they could.... but it it a government decision to allow filming so they have to suck it up.... but PQ's wil go sooner rather than later.
