B&M Relocate from Vision Retail Park

B&M is to relocate into the empty B&Q store from its current location on Hartlepool's 'Vision' Retail Park on Hartlepool marina.

Good news in that it could lead to B&M employing more people..... but it does blow a hole in Craneys, Vision Retail Park regeneration plans.

That site is closer to completion but it was initially trailed to be finished by early 2015.

Apparently the store in town centre will close after the 2 year lease ends and all just be situated in the old B&Q store. Someone in B&M mentioned at tills.

heard  they wanted triple the rent from b  and m to stay  at the vision retail park, clearly cheaper to relocate

Hard to see what they are going to do with this. The footfall is all on the other side of the road. Only in Hartlepool would you get 3 separate retail parks separated by the busiest roads in the town - total numpties
