County Durham Plan to begin again

I read this and thought why hasn't the Inspector done a similar thing in Hartlepool?

Then it clicked........... we don't have a town plan!

I wonder who will produce a town plan first - Hartlepool or Durham?

Inspector Knacker

Don't we have an ' emerging town plan' ?

There won't be a town, HBC is running the clock down to the 1st Jan 2017, then the government will put one in place. By then all the dosh will have been made and the council will not be investigated.

it must have 'emerged' by now it was only going to take six months  ;)

Inspector Knacker

Like I said earlier, an 'emerging local plan' is not a local plan, it's a vision of a local plan . Pie in the sky.
