Where have we heard this before ?

The recent implosion of a Nationally known charity has raised a few questions for some of those involved......

Am I alone in thinking that an Inquiry into the funding of ManorResidents Asc by HBC should take place

Their judgment fled and good money was thrown after bad.

'There is also the question of what the trustees were doing running a charity with so little cash in reserve.'

The pair repeatedly claimed that the charity's books were all in order, and the allegations of wrongdoing are totally unfounded.

However, a succession of revelations the last few weeks have painted a picture of an organisation that handed out money irresponsibly,

The sole reason this has made the national news is because the charity is London based and has direct links to Government. Quite why this direct avenue of funding was open to them is an issue in itself when there must be thousands of similar charities all over the UK. The one common thread is that the overseeing and proper governance of such charities appears to be lamentably weak as w e know from our own experience.
