Title: A reminder
Post by: Hartlepudlion on April 25, 2015, 03: PM
Before the Coalition capped the CT rise, this is what Labour did before then:-

2005/6       4.9%
2006/7       4.9%
2007/8       4.9%
2008/9       3.9%
2009/10     3.9%
2010/11     2.5%

Note the big rises during Labour's spending spree years. Can you imagine what will happen if Labour get in again|? I have heard suggestions it could go as high as 10% but certainly 5% or more is a near certainty. On top of the CT the Council received multi-millions of pounds in grants. What improvements did the town see during Labour's spending spree years? So where did all the money go? OFCA, MR, Who Cares NE, West View, Phoenix Centre and numerous others?

The Police & Fire Brigade obviously didn't know about the cap.
Police
2012/13    3.5%
2013/14    2%
2014/15    2%
2015/16    2%

Fire
2012/13    4%
2013/14    1.9%
2014/15    1.9%
2015/16    1.9%

Use your VOTE!      DON'T VOTE LABOUR!

Unfortunately, the non-main parties' candidates will not be able to make a difference despite their good intentions. The Westminster bubble will swallow them whole.

West View Project provides help to all manner of people with differing problems, I don`t think you can make a connection between the good works they do, to the wastefulness & downright dodgy deals by the others you have mentioned.
