Speaking of the good doctor, he'll hang on and take the money until May but he's effectively given up on ever getting the MP seat in Hartlepool so is heading 'back' to London to go for a safe one there

He won't be defending his council seat in May. Ian Cawley is being positioned to replace him.

Oh and two fingers to everyone who cried 'fake news' when the late Steve Latimer released the story on Dr Mike.

It was 100% spot on.

To be honest David.... The Doc Pothole sage wasn't the only thing that Steve Latimer was right about, I honestly believe that politics in Hartlepool is all the better for his commitment to exposing the mismanagement and lack of honesty and integrity within Hartlepool Labour.

The sad thing is, there are those within the Corbyn pixies who have also displayed a similar lack of honesty and integrity..........assertions by at least 1 elected officer of the HCLP and several sitting councillors attempted to substantiate the bona fide credentials of Doc Pothole as  an employee of NT&H NHS Trust, were to be blunt... a load of bollox.

I'm afraid Hartlepool labour is a case of "Meeting the New Boss.... Same as the Old Boss"
