Driving back from Redcar this morning and decided to take a shortcut over the Transporter. Pulls up to find it closed. For lunch!!
This is a complete joke, if they're serious about this Tees Valley venture, the first step would be a cross river link lower down the Tees.
The transporter may be an icon for the people of the Boro. For the rest of us it's an anachronistic dinosaur well past it's sell by date.
