Can someone clarify this for me? Wasn't one of the highlights moved to Jacksons Landing where it is used as a memorial to those merchant seamen lost at sea??

One was next to the Staincliffe Hotel (Low Light)and was demolished over a century ago. The other is presently on Jackson's Landing. The Mail have no idea what they are on about.

Low Light demolished in 1930.

not yet but give it a couple of years  ;)
A councillor is an elected representative of their ward, not their political party!
Councils need communities but communities don't need councils
Party politics have no place in local goverment

They say it will lead to a better public understanding of these features. Sorry to disappoint, but the public interest in one long demolished light and another needing to be relocated in the scrapyard it was retrieved from the marina will be very close to zero.
