Very strange how this should make into the pages of the Mail while so many other stories have not.

Is anyone on here able to verify the veracity of these latest claims ?
I find it difficult to believe anything our erstwhile leaders tell me these days.
I saw that non-story the other day. I'm not even going to get into allowances, I think everything has been said before.
I think we all know the reasons why this article has been released/printed but I can't see it possibly influencing the way people vote in May, although I could be wrong. It makes you wonder about the intellect of the people who ordered it's release, not to mention those who took the decision to print it. I think the Fail needs putting out of it's misery.

It was a story from 'The Taxpayers Alliance' about Councillors allowances that made the nationals. The Mail just took the Press Release from them and showcased the fact Hartlepool came out as one of the ones with lower than average spending on allowances. The reason we did not get a photo of the botox damaged gruesome twosome and their coterie gurning for a photoshoot to celebrate the good news is because it was not a Council Press Release and so did not come with a pic. Not having a staff photographer is a bit of a handicap for a newspaper!
Or a godsend for the rest of us ::) Our eyes can be spared the torture.
Get ready for the wee bloke's photo in the Friday Mail.

The Mail are just using a story that has appeared across all the firms locals here and it seems the local 'reporters' (snigger) failed to spot and play up the local MP. Watch how this story now gets updated by The Mail.

I was told that the lifeguards at Mill house baths are on zero hour contracts. Anyone know if it's true? If so, then this is a disgrace....bet the Mail won't be reporting on that!
As I predicted the original story that ran in all JP newpapers as generic content
http://www.hartlepoolmail.co.uk/news/local/newcastle-united-owner-mike-ashley-running-a-modern-day-sweatshop-at-sports-direct-1-7788617#comments-area
has been repeated in today's Mail because of the fact out illustrious MP has the job of sticking stamps on all the correspondence.
Todays version:

It seems the 'local' Hartlepool reporters (all based in Sunderland) failed to notice the Hartlepool connection first time round.
nauseating hypocrisy. Just two words - Manor Residents.
Dead right.
For the third day The Mail have featured this same story. The latest version now has a photo of Wright and an added paragraph about him but it is just the exact same story from the day(s) before.
