Very sad news about the 9 climbers killed in Chamonix. One being John Taylor of Hartlepool's Vela Housing Group (encompassing Housing Hartlepool and Tristar Homes). Our thoughts go to his family.

I couldn't help but notice that he is quoted as being responsible for group finance, human resources, corporate services and governance arrangements.

It just goes to show what can be accomplished in the private sector.
HBC have to employ 'directors' and 'assistant directors' for virtually each of those roles.
What a money making con. 

Oh yes, it's a definite 'box B' for me with regard to the mayor issue.
We don't need him and his £100,000 a year (with on-costs) and we certainly DO NOT want the egotistical you know who from Owton Manor. 

More 'wind beneath your wings' to perseus. Let's hope it is mission accomplished in due course.
There will be a hell of a lot of smiling faces in the kremlin if it comes to fruition.
