Either you're trying to wind me up (which won't work), or perhaps more worryingly, you genuinely believe what you've written.

Either way, your post doesn't really warrant a significant response from me.

Pensionater the mail is so far up HBCs ar** that it knows when HBC has farted a fortnight before HBC does and not the other way round.

The decision to have the gypsy camp at Hart being a red herring was common gossip before the decision to announce the decision to have it at Hart was common knowledge, never mind later down the path of scrapping the non chiming town plan.

The mob may be devious and unethical but they have never ever had enough intelligence to fool anybody with the slightest interest in local politics.

What will be next, the tubbies announce their next long haul holiday or an announcement that their fat club CIC has received funding ?
Both at the same time you say, just a coincidence ?

CAB met with the Wynyard Developers on 8th July 2013 when he made a commitment to 'make sure the Wynyard development went ahead'. In August, CAB stood up in front of everyone in Hart Village Hall and told them that 'you can't change history'. and that the decision to place a Traveller's site in Hart would have to stand.

During the next couple of weeks, all Labour councillors, including ward councillors Beck and Robinson, refused to support a move to 'call in' the decision to place the Traveller's site at Hart - an ideal opportunity, you would have thought, for CAB to reveal his plans to scrap the local plan because of his concerns over the decision.

The Post article 'The Wynyard Effect' appeared in August 2013 and predicted the scrapping of the local plan after CAB indiscreetly let it be known that the only way to get the Wynyard development through was to scrap the whole local plan which had designated the Wynyard land for business and employment. It's a characteristic that he shares with Wells in that you can't impress people with how much 'power' you yield unless you tell them about it. Consequently both have trouble keeping their mouths shut.

At some point over the following few weeks, it occurred to CAB that scrapping the local plan would also have the benefit of allowing him to put off the Traveller controversy to a later date and so this was the smoke screen laid to draw attention away from what was happening with Wynyard - you could change history after all - with the right incentive.

The local plan was scrapped in October and the planning application for Wynyard went through on April 1st, 2014 - an appropriate date. Wells went off on his expensive 4 weeks 'honeymoon' to Las Vegas soon afterwards.

Several members of the Planning Department walked away in disgust after the local plan they had worked on for years was scrapped at a cost of £1.5. By the time the replacement plan is in place, it's estimated that the total cost of the episode will be £2.5m but you can add in the £800,000 in 106 money that HBC was entitled to from the Wynyard Developers but generously decided to waive for no clear reason.

The two Akers-Belchers, one of whom is unemployed, if not unemployable, and the other with a work contract due to expire in March, are understood to be in the process of purchasing a £450,000 property.

On top of that a there's the farce regarding the aforementioned "fat club CIC". That was picked up by the post literally days after certain people registered a new company with company house.
Within hours, the post and it's contributors had 'joined the dots' and well over a year ago it was predicted on here that HBC would soon find the need to fund some sort of town wide 'healthy eating/exercise/don't be fat' type business.

Fast forward a year or so and the formal announcement they intend to do just that was confirmed last week.

Local bookmakers stopped taking bets on the company likely to be chosen to deliver such a project a long time ago.

Crazy times.

I should also add that The Wynyard Effect article also predicted that the Hospital land, which is adjacent to the Wynyard development, would be sold back to the developers once planning permission had been granted.

One rumour has it that the alleged property is a cheapie at £375k - surely that makes it all eminently understandable?  ;)
