Ms Wilcox is due back in court on the 19th after she lodged an appeal over a ruling by the Small Claims Court to pay compensation to her previous landlord for damage to his property. The Landlord won the right to withhold her deposit as part-payment for the damage and the Small Claims Court awarded more to the Landlord to make up the difference.

Wilcox's track record is to appeal against any judgements made against her and then to not turn up on the day so I'm wondering if it will be the same this time. It appears to be a delaying tactic but as far as I know, she has never paid any money to her victims that the has been ordered to pay and the bailiffs have been singularly unsuccessful in pursuing her for payment.

Incidentally, with things going quiet while investigations were underway, Manor Residents is continuing unabated in a state of complete denial. This includes a move by HBC to reclaim the lease on the building and turf the lot of them out - that too seems to have been quietly forgotten about.

Diplomacy is the ability to tell someone to go to hell in such a way that they look forward to the trip.
