When will politicians and people with political agenda's give straight honest answers?
With new political parties and politicians entering the frame surely they should set out to tell the truth, be open
, honest and answer questions without waffle.
The voting public are sick to the back teeth of lying, cheating scumbags with political agenda's telling blatent lies so they can get voted in just to make as much money as they can with sly underhanded deals involving brown envelopes or any other kind of sweetner.
People in the UK won't vote because it looks like all politicians are the same. We are told if we want to get things changed then vote for a different political party. Why should we bother? They all lie to get into a position of power and then do what the hell they want.
Come on you new political types, answer questions honestly when asked, don't change or ignore your manifesto when elected. Please don't forget, we the general public voted you into power, you are put there to serve the general public. Our views and questions are important to us, please remember and respect this.
So which other prospective candidates have you asked questions of...?
Very fair point and very relevant considering the recent onslaught on DRiddle, has Dave 77, Jamescampbell or our Arry even bothered to ask any other budding or serving councillor similar questions.

...and there's the problem. You're like the sweet shop owner that busy hectoring the kid who you think might have nicked a packet of sweets that you fail to notice the gang stealing your till and half your stock.

For people who should be used to not getting answers out off any politicians or aspiring politicoan, you appear to have an unhealthy fixation with this individual which is what I find odd.. Politicians won't answer questions shock, horror..... no surprise there then....buy some wood, build a bridge and get over it...I did a long time ago...!
Just because someone enters into the now murky world of the council chamber, it doesn`t in my opinion mean that they want to be politicians, it might just be that they want to do their best for the town & it`s residents.
It used to be called Civic Duty, but in this day & age National Party politics has destroyed that ethos & as we have seen with "The Mob" it has become a case of the ego driven self seekers that have come to the fore.

They can gang up on me as much as they want, they think they are clever people, they are nothing but a bunch of bullies that would fit well into the political circles in this once great country of ours.

i believe what i posted was a generalization of local and national politics, nowhere did i mention names.
the whole point of the post is to get across my and other members of the general public's concern of politics at all levels being corrupt. politicians or future politicians should realise the general public are sick of politicians lining their own pockets, lies, deceit, empty promises etc.
Maybe some people start off in local politics with all good intentions, but unfortunately they are usually brow beaten into the way of thinking of the politicians that have fleeced the system for years. We just have to look at the Hart gypsy fiasco or the MRA ongoing saga, do as we tell you and everything will be fine mentality of the old boys clubs.
politics in general need to be cleaned up, if there wasn't as much back stabbing, fleecing or wondering where they can get more sweetners from then the politicians should have more time to listen to the electorate's concerns and address them.
Politicians of all levels need to get out there and ask the voters what they want, and not just hide away until election time. come and ask us don't just vote on town or country issues without asking the people who put them there what there opinions of the issues are.

Just the bickering and pettiness is way beyond school yard, the opening post may not have been directed at anyone but it was implied and a common theme is developing on a number of threads.

with local elections due, i thought a post like this would be topical.
the post reflects modern day politics in any town or city in the uk.
it seems to me the way people have torn my post apart, they agree that politics should stop as it is eg: corrupt, full of waffle and brown envelopes.
the way i look at the post is, modern politics needs someone with b*lls to stand up to the rot that is corruption, nowhere have i seen any manifesto's or statements that imply that a particular politician or political party have the b*lls to do this.
i would have let this go, but i do not see why members of this site can blatantly change quotes to suit their own agenda.

i had to post replies to posts that had supposedly quoted what i had written but even when i pointed out the blatant lies they still disagreed. maybe some folk need to go to specsavers or maybe even take an adult education course on reading. even after proving these things certain members still said i had quoted certain items which everyone should be able to see.
if i had written these things i wouldn't have a problem.
as far as i can work out near enough every member of this forum has had a go at a local politician because of the corruptness within the system but when i post about corruption members have a go at my post.
I am not a well educated person (my own doing) but i can see corruption and lies when i see them.

I was banned from the PHF FB for asking questions and for writing a blog that Riddler didn't like.
A number of other people were banned for the same thing: asking questions.
James Campbell was placed on Jankers on this forum for being boring AKA asking questions. They also didn't like the idea that he knew me, although I've never even spoken to the guy.
This brings me to you. You've asked questions. They immediately abuse you and suggest you know me.
These are people who want serious political debates and they behave like school bullies.
Keep going but I predict the outcome now: a ban for you and probably me.
Or you'll go on pre-mod first so MK1 can write stuff about you that you can't respond to until 4-12 hours later when your reply is no longer valid?
Seems questions are not liked Harry or people are unable to actually answer a question truthfully so they don't answer at all. Or change quotes so they can use the answer they like.
I Have seen the questions James Campbell asked in a post before it was removed and he was placed on pre-mod, none of the questions he asked would have been very difficult to answer.

1. i have no idea who James Campbell is, i have never met this person. I only know his name because of this forum.
2. I do recognise the name Harry Blackwood but i have never met him. i only recently found Harry's blog and seen a picture of him, otherwise i would have no idea what he looks like. I have never had any contact with Harry or James besides threads here that we have all posted in.
i am going to have to repeat myself again as people just do not listen, or rather choose no to listen.
I am my own person, with my own views. i may agree with some posts that Harry Blackwood and James Campbell have written. i also agree with some posts that MK1, Riddler5, stokoe and others have posted on here but i also disagree with some posts written, Harry and James included.

Nothing more than distraction. These people hate being out in a position where their blinkered view is called into question. They hate direct questions even more.
Personally, I'll keep going. The abuse gives me a bit of a buzz TBH. When you get personal abuse you know you're on the right track.
