Would any local Authority HR department be foolish enough to offer an interview to anyone for this position who had been dismissed from a previous local authority post for Gross Industrial Mis- Conduct, & who subsequently  made serios allegations against that employer,  which were investigated by the police & found to be totally spurious.

I can't see it myself..... but hey..... this is Hartlepool
