When the work is completed in Church Street, will the price rise if the finished product doesn't meet the approval of our very own Capabilty Brown?
Trees not the right shape, grass the wrong shade of green, we should be told!
What can be asserted without proof,
can be dismissed without proof.

I can just see the list on completion.

FOR SALE.

1. Sundry trees, used briefly unwanted project.
2. Several thousand square metres of turf, unapproved green shade.
3. Paving stones, various shades, unapproved textures and colour's.
4. Several statues of former civic dignitaries, being removed as part of 'Project Airbrush'.
5. Old Church, redundant due to to not being 'groovy enough' for Groovy Street.
6. Collection of various signs 'Church Street', now redundant.
7. Building materials from previous modernisations, mature shrubs and trees.
8. Interchange, aka Tumbleweed junction, unused.
9. Railway station, buyer to remove, to be replaced by Intergalactic Teleport, Project Deluded.
What can be asserted without proof,

I rode up Church Street on Monday, stopped and watched lads from a company with an 0191 phone number, they were very busy chainsawing the trees down.......20' trees sacrificed on the a Altar of Eritige and Istry.

So the trees planted on the original redevelopment, having reached maturity are unceremoniously hacked down, all in the name of vanity.
Wasn't there a tree preservation order n them?
What next, a retail redevelopment for Ward Jackson Park
