Received my copy of the local labour propaganda pamphlet for Foggy Furze yesterday. In it was an interesting read from Anne Marshall were she quoted Hartlepool does not have one of the highest council taxes. Most of the surveys carried out use band D as a reference point and Hartlepool has fewer band D than other areas OK.

Can you please tell me where Hartlepool ranks in the Tees Valley council tax for band A,B properties ? the same Hartlepool with no A&E no bus services to certain parts of the town after 7pm no police station after 9pm in a town were robberies have doubled in last 12 months? please don't blame the Tories the rest of Tees Valley have experienced same cuts  after all CAB used the excuse of raising councillors allowances to bring them in line with the Tees Valley councillors or is he just cherry picking the best parts to line his pockets and not protect our people of the town

An ethos closely followed by a number of labour councillors, which no doubt,  will feature heavily in their up coming election propaganda.

The self promotion is in full spin. It's like living in some tinpot dictatorship where pictures of the ruling clique appear anda mute compliant, media.
Like Kruschev said.....' politicians promise to build a bridge even where there is no river', Church St/Church Square and Stockton Street being great examples.
Is someone special up for election this year as there has been a longer than usual pre election show of dynamic leadership ( like digging things up) and much frantic activity, the irony being who gave them the money to promote themselves
