Is this the same Paul Montgomery who is taking over the Staincliffe? If so, he doesn't appear to have any active directorships on either the Companies House Beta page or the one below. Taking on a project like the Staincliffe could be a major (and potentially risky) project without a limited company as a safety net.

If have had the cash to refurbish the Staincliffe to it`s full potential..... I would forget it and just retire  :)

Just jesting ...

you know how Brian is always setting up new companies, has he run out of company names and started changing his own name ?

I don't believe it.

May not be the same people, but a Brian Morton and a Paul Montgomery were directors of the same company in Newcastle in the 90s. Spartan Leisure.

Leisure industry, pubs, clubs etc seems to be a common interest.

Using Google search there is a "famous" swinging club f in Stanley, Durham.
Wonder who owns that?

rabbit

And did Brian and Paul once own a racehorse called Teddy Month?
Did they believe Hartlepool was a safe bet?

Interesting ... does this imply an historic connection?

Stig of the Seaton Dump

Smells fishy to me.
I don't believe it.

This confirms Brian's connection with Paul as Brian's address for Darwin Hotels is given as Staincliffe Hotel.
Brian's interest in horse racing is shown in his Pinnacle company at Wynyard.
Therefore quite possible he once shared the ownership of a racehorse with Paul, and also was a co director with him at Spartan Leisure.

Although the surname is slightly different, (possible typo).
No relation to Whattheheck from the mail !

Very likely the same Paul, typo or not.
Company up and running before Paul Montgomery bought the Staincliffe.
Is this within Private Limited Company rules/legislation?

Anybody taking my bets on unpaid bills and written off council tax heading our way again ?
I don't believe it.

More chance of Morton owning a grand national winner than him paying council tax, you would think by now HBC would be demanding monthly payments from him.

anybody else would be forced to pay up front and no than a month allowed in arrears
but we all know why he gets away with it  >:(
