So, when do they start digging.

They've contacted all local authorities/councils hroughout England & Wales, its to have a ten year consultation period regardless of which LA/Council agrees to it.

No doubt they will, but there’ll be half a dozen real names on the list.

Yes they did - but maybe Stockton council listen to their residents.

When we had Seaton Car Parking charges imposed upon us Saltburn car parking charges were, following a public consultation, dropped - so do we think our councillors will listen to us regarding nuclear waste storage?

Is it true the Brains Trust are busy buying up redundant narrowboats and storing them in the mythical warehouse next to the carpets ? Then if/when the nuclear waste comes here they can fill the boats with it and sink the boats in Ward Jackson, Rossmere ponds and the marina..... oh and the paddling pool on the headland.

DISCLAIMER..... REFERENCE TO FILLING NARROWBOATS WITH NUCLEAR WASTE AND SCUTTLING THEM IS A JOKE/MICK TAKE.
THIS DOES NOT CONSTITUTE A VIABLE PLAN OR BLUEPRINT FOR THE DISPOSAL OF NUCLEAR WASTE WITHIN THE BOROUGH. ANY PERSON OR PERSONS SO DUMB/ BEFUDDLED TO THINK THAT SUCH A LUDICROUS SOLUTION IS VIABLE, CAN SAFELY BE DESCRIBED IN LEGAL TERMS AS NOT A FULL SHILLING.
HOPE THAT HELPS! ;D
