If it is the Crackpot Compositor he will eventually let it slip....... It's impossible for him not to use the  Cnut word............How ever, I think it's more likely to be a poisonous little pixie who still lives at home and goes through half a dozen packets of cheesy wotsits a week.

Owen is Harry, isn't he  :-\

Unless he has a twin.
don't even say things like that in jest  ;)
A councillor is an elected representative of their ward, not their political party!
Councils need communities but communities don't need councils
Party politics have no place in local goverment

This woman's comment sums up the problem with current  Brexit 'debate' :
https://youtu.be/MtZJe1r3zr0?t=3398

Note that while she was talking about people not listening to the other side one of the Brexit loonies tried to interrupt her.

Its a cult now. Common sense has gone out the window and its a simple dick-measuring competition.

As someone who has lived through dozens of elections I look forward to this new Nirvana where true democracy rules, the elite are curbed and the rights of the common people respected and promoted. I have heard it promised at every election and it never ever came about. I hope those who dream fondly of blue passports, the Empire and straight bananas don't expire in their rapture when (if?) liberation day arrives.

Reminds me of the slanging match at Hartlepool where we showed the country we was real men by audience members 'offering each other out' live on national television.  This Youtube clip has had the threats removed..

Argh......Jim lad.....

Anyone know the woman?

Or this ginger?

Who says the French have no sense of humour

It has emerged that France’s Europe Minister, Nathalie Loiseau has brought her work home with her and named her moggie “Brexit”............................

“He wakes me up every morning miaowing to death because he wants to go out, and then when I open the door he stays in the middle, undecided, and then gives me evil looks when I put him out,”

Maybe the French don't understand the feline white flag, strange seeing as they are so keen on it themselves

They didn't wave a white flag in the Crimean War. Whilst the British assault on Sevastapol was a failure the French took their objectives and won the war. The French Cavalry also saved the light Brigade from being completely wiped out by their supporting attacks. Strangely I never got told much about this when we did the Crimean War at school.
Oh and it was the French who defeated Cornwallis at Yorktown and gained America her  Independence. Cornwallis  was pretty keen on a big white flag that day!

The one precious consolation of defeat, is that you learn from them. Show me an army who’s never been defeated.

Those who believe the British Army  is 'the best' had better not google the opinion of US Generals about its performance in Helmand.

If you’re looking for an opinion on military c**k ups, the Yanks are the lads to ask. They wrote the book on it.

The problem is those who believe they, and they alone, should get everything they want and everyone else will just have to lump it. .................

A cartoon in Private Eye perfectly illustrates this blinkered mindset
